Your daily tasks include developing automated test systems, conducting E2E and performance tests, and collaborating across teams to improve non-functional testing protocols. With a deep understanding of financial services regulations, you will contribute to building robust test infrastructures that support millions of transactions daily for clients such as Stash and Betterment.
Actively participate in software development life cycle phases to enhance quality assurance processes.
Perform integrations, E2E, regression, and performance tests to validate production readiness of applications.
Develop and maintain automated test systems and scripts using API automation tools like Junit and JMeter.
Create detailed E2E and performance test plans based on risk assessments for prioritizing testing efforts.
Collaborate with software development teams to enhance functional and non-functional testing protocols and practices.
Conduct manual, exploratory testing alongside automated testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of application features.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience in software testing, both manual and automated
Deep understanding of non-functional testing techniques and cloud-based microservices
Ability to develop and maintain automated test systems using API automation tools
Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
Proficiency with event-driven systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Google Pub/Sub
Familiarity with Junit, JMeter, and other open-source testing tools
Experience in the financial services industry with regulatory compliance knowledge
