What you'll do

Define and implement long-term reliability roadmaps and target operating models for EDS.
Lead the creation of SLO/SLI frameworks spanning the entire data lifecycle.
Develop AI-driven automation for anomaly detection and autonomous remediation.
Establish gold-standard incident response patterns and continuous improvement processes.
Embed resilience patterns into governed data pipelines and real-time systems.
Set and enforce engineering standards across IaC, CI/CD, and reliability frameworks.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers in the RE team.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in data, cloud, platform engineering, or large-scale distributed systems.
Proficiency with Snowflake, EMR, Hadoop/Spark, and cloud-native data ecosystems.
Scripting and programming skills for automation and reliability frameworks (preferably Python).
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Expertise in enterprise observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Background in applying machine learning to operations for anomaly detection and predictive modeling.
Demonstrated leadership in technical strategy, influencing senior engineering leaders, and setting standards.
