As a Performance Applications Engineer at Arm, you will join the Applications Engineering team as a senior-level professional, working closely with partners to solve complex performance debug and optimization challenges related to Arm IP and systems. Your daily tasks include engaging with partners through web portals and virtual meetings to address hardware performance issues during SoC bring-up stages, supporting Arm’s performance debug tools, and developing training courses on SoC and performance tooling. You will also collaborate with product engineering groups to enhance existing products by identifying defects and creating knowledge articles. This role requires a deep understanding of application/server class processors, proficiency in C and C++, experience with Linux kernel building, and familiarity with Arm’s software ecosystem. Ideal candidates have extensive background in workload performance optimization and industry-standard benchmark analysis on real and simulated platforms.

What we're looking for

Strong foundational knowledge of SoC architectures, CPU clusters, interconnects, and memory subsystems.
