As a Platform Automation Engineer on the Ethos Platform Reliability team, you will play a crucial role in organizing and orchestrating maintenance activities across our extensive fleet of Kubernetes clusters. Your responsibilities include coordinating complex releases and changes, developing self-service applications for scheduling and reporting, and integrating multiple systems like Git, JIRA, and Slack to enhance fleet visibility and release orchestration. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to reduce platform outages and increase velocity through process optimization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software engineering, release management, and site reliability engineering, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, and Bash, and familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD systems. This role requires a strong understanding of scrum processes, fluency in the modern AI landscape, and the ability to work across multiple time zones using tools like Slack and video conferencing.

What we're looking for
