As a mid-level Software Engineer at Anduril Labs, you will join a multidisciplinary team to develop advanced optimization algorithms and software solutions for national defense applications. Utilize GenAI tools like Claude Code to rapidly prototype, refine, and test algorithmic solutions, enhancing development velocity and code quality.
Develop robust data models and pipelines for efficient processing of algorithmic inputs and outputs in optimization problems.
Perform rigorous testing and validation of optimization solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and accuracy under diverse conditions.
Integrate optimization engines and services into larger defense systems across various platforms (on-prem, cloud, hybrid quantum computing).
Support Anduril-funded R&D efforts by contributing to technical documentation, presentations, and patent applications.
What we're looking for
Expert proficiency in Python for scientific computing and robust software development.
Deep expertise in classical optimization algorithms including linear programming and heuristics.
Experience solving complex optimization problems in defense or related industries.
Strong hands-on experience with optimization libraries and commercial solvers like Gurobi.
Demonstrated use of GenAI tools for rapid prototyping and testing algorithmic solutions.
