Apple’s Finance Transformation Org seeks an Operations Finance Process and Technology Expert to lead the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions for global operations finance processes. This role involves re-engineering and building new AI/ML-driven systems to enhance efficiency and scalability in engineering, supply-chain, logistics, and AppleCare functions. The expert will manage technical roadmaps, oversee complex project delivery, and ensure high-quality launches through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include process optimization, data analysis, and the application of advanced AI techniques to drive measurable business impact. Ideal candidates have a background in supply-chain or finance, extensive experience in software engineering, GenAI, MLOps, and a deep understanding of cloud-based solutions and large language models.
Develop and maintain the technology roadmap for Operations Finance, focusing on AI/ML integration.
Oversee delivery and maintenance of complex cross-functional finance solutions supporting operations and supply-chain.
Identify opportunities for process improvement using advanced AI/ML techniques to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
Establish a structured development lifecycle with version control and release management for disciplined deployment.
Manage the quarterly Ops Finance Technology Steering Committee to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
Partner with technology business partners to deliver globally scalable finance solutions, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
What we're looking for
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or equivalent technical field with 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s with 10+ years
Extensive experience in software engineering, GenAI, Machine Learning, AI, and supply chain/operations domains
Proficiency with data acquisition tools, advanced SQL, Python, data visualization, and analytics platforms
Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, large language models (LLMs), and prompt engineering techniques
Experience managing feature roadmaps across interconnected systems in finance and supply chain concepts
Familiarity with software engineering best practices including testing frameworks, secure development practices, APIs, and system integration
