As a Network Engineer at our semiconductor manufacturing operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the campus LAN and wireless network infrastructure across various environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing onsite support for network incidents, configuring switching technologies like VLANs and trunking, and assisting with wireless operations such as access point deployment and RF troubleshooting. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement approved changes during maintenance windows and use AI-assisted tools to streamline network operations. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in network engineering or a similar IT role, with knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, VLANs, and enterprise switching platforms. Familiarity with Cisco and Arista-based environments, as well as exposure to BGP and EVPN/VXLAN, is preferred. This hands-on position requires regular onsite presence and the ability to work in industrial settings.
