Ideal candidates will have an active Secret security clearance and the ability to establish and qualify NDT programs in fast-paced environments.

What you'll do

  • Inspect materials, equipment, and products to ensure compliance with NAVSEA standards.
  • Develop novel inspection techniques for advanced manufacturing processes and new materials.
  • Review engineering drawings to measure hardware key characteristics accurately.
  • Qualify NDT equipment and create validations for tools in production facilities.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues to maintain quality.

What we're looking for

  • Verifiable work experience meeting NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 requirements.
  • Current NDT Level II certification in UT and/or RT from a recognized body.
  • Experience performing NDT on critical naval or defense structures and materials.
  • Must be a U.S. Person with the ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
  • Knowledge of NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, ASME B&PV Section V, AWS D1.2 codes.
  • Ability to develop and qualify NDT procedures for advanced materials in manufacturing.
  • Experience establishing a NAVSEA 271 compliant NDT program in fast-paced environments.
