You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.</p><p></p><p><b>What you'll do:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.</li><li>Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.</li><li>Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes ensuring adherence to coding standards.</li><li>Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and technical coaching.</li><li>Contribute to cloud adoption and legacy modernization efforts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience you'll need to have:</b></p><ul><li>10+ years of enterprise-grade software development experience using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring-based microservices).</li><li>6+ years of experience in building highly available, secure, and transaction‑intensive systems that support financial workflows.</li><li>6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, including advanced stored procedure development, performance tuning, and data integrity optimization for large-scale datasets.</li><li>4+ years of experience working in cloud environments, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Microsoft Azure, supporting mission-critical applications.</li><li>3+ years of experience designing and deploying Azure-based cloud-native solutions, with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.</li><li>3+ years of experience integrating and supporting RESTful APIs, distributed services, and observability platforms such as Splunk for monitoring and incident analysis.</li><li>3+ years of experience in application security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure API design.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience that would be great to have:</b></p><ul><li>Experience building or supporting systems in the financial services / fintech domain, such as payments, lending, treasury, risk, or financial data platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, data privacy, audit readiness).</li><li>Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, enabling full-stack collaboration.</li><li>Strong exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, secure deployments, and environment promotions.</li><li>Experience working in Agile delivery models, collaborating with product owners, QA, and business stakeholders using tools like Jira and Confluence.</li><li>Exposure to AI-assisted software development, including knowledge of LLMs, AI APIs, or developer productivity tools leveraging AI.</li><li>Experience modernizing legacy financial platforms into microservices or cloud-native architectures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Important information
