What you'll do

  • Analyze and assess database identity & privileged access risks using security tools.
  • Validate control effectiveness with DBAs and infrastructure teams for remediation.
  • Map data flows supporting IAM lifecycle processes like access requests and reviews.
  • Produce clear requirements and process flows for new or improved IAM processes.
  • Work with IAM leadership to define target state control models for database access.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent database infrastructure & security experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in databases and cloud platforms with hands-on privileged access management.
  • Clear understanding of database privileged access risks and ability to discuss them credibly with technical teams.
  • Experience using database security tools like Guardium/Wiz/Qualys for assessing control effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with identity and data integration patterns, translating complex issues into clear requirements.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments, creating diagrams and specifications to drive alignment across teams.
