Lead Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Research

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize generative AI technologies for mixed media, video, audio, and language models.
• Design and build robust ML systems to enhance core ad platform capabilities like inventory forecasting and targeting.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical growth in the team.
• Invent and deploy novel solutions to complex advertising challenges using rapid prototyping cycles.
• Champion engineering excellence through best practices in code quality, system design, and operational reliability.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.
• Expertise in generative AI modeling including image, video, mixed media, audio, LLMs, and agentic flows.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax, and Hugging Face libraries.
• Proven proficiency in traditional ML modeling methods, fine-tuning, and transformer architectures.
• Experience creating ML datasets and developing rigorous quality evaluation processes for generative AI applications.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with multimodal models and embedding techniques (preferred).
