What you'll do

Design and govern data architecture across Oracle SQL and MongoDB.
Define and own the engineering roadmap for modernizing the cheque payment platform.
Lead performance engineering initiatives, including profiling JVM-based applications.
Maintain and enforce engineering standards within the scrum team, including TDD and CI/CD.
Act as the primary engineering point of contact for the core Cheque Processing pillar.

What we're looking for

Extensive hands-on experience in high-throughput Java engineering and JVM performance tuning.
Proven expertise in designing microservices ecosystems and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift/AWS.
Deep knowledge of Oracle SQL and MongoDB for schema design, query optimization, and data consistency.
Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and ownership aligned with enterprise-level engineering standards.
Strategic thinking and leadership in platform strategy, stakeholder engagement, and AI integration.
