As a Staff Data Operations Engineer on the Data Platform Engineering Team, you will manage and oversee technologies supporting various data and analytics platforms across financial, HCM, Legal, Tax, and Intellectual Property domains. Additionally, you will design technology solutions, coordinate disaster recovery plans, and stay updated with the latest data platform technologies such as SAP HANA, Snowflake, AWS services, and ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter. This role requires deep technical expertise in data pipeline concepts, SQL scripting, and experience working within an agile framework to support business objectives effectively.

What you'll do

Investigate and resolve production issues from UI to persistence layer.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for efficient support processes.
Oversee vendor management to ensure service level agreements are met.
Implement continuous improvement on existing technical solutions through DevOps practices.
Design and implement technology solutions in partnership with Solution Architects.
Coordinate the development of Disaster Recovery plans for assigned platforms.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and standards related to data technologies.

What we're looking for

Minimum 7 years of related work experience in software development and deployment.
Deep technical expertise in SAP, data pipelines, Snowflake, and relevant application platforms.
Experience with agile frameworks and formal change management processes.
Strong business acumen in Finance and HCM domains with corresponding technology skills.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure service level targets are met.
Knowledge of AWS services like S3, Lambda, and data warehouse/data modeling concepts.
Proficiency in SQL, Java scripting, and various ETL tools such as Informatica IDMC/PowerCenter.
