Lead Data Platform & Analytics Engineer – Money Movement Data Platform

What you'll do

• Lead architecture and integration of money movement data into a unified platform using Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and models to analyze payment transaction trends and risks for business insights.
• Develop predictive models using advanced analytics and machine learning techniques for payment optimization and fraud detection.
• Provide technical leadership on data architecture standards and best practices for payments and money movement analytics.
• Define and enforce BI and data platform standards, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and governance.
• Measure outcomes of analytics-driven recommendations and continuously refine solutions to improve transaction data analysis.

What we're looking for

• Six to eight years of experience in data and analytics solutions with Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of financial services, payments, and money movement data (ACH, Wires, RTP, FedNow).
• Hands-on experience with advanced analytics, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, analysis, and modeling; R or SAS is a plus.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, synthesize insights, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, application design, information management, and security considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience working independently and partnering with senior business leaders.
