IT Network Infrastructure Engineer, Launch

What you'll do

• Design and install physical cabling, network hardware, and data center environments for mission-critical control networks.
• Troubleshoot and monitor network health to ensure reliable connectivity during high-cadence launch operations.
• Collaborate with launch automation teams to provide robust connectivity solutions for critical systems.
• Create project implementation plans through job walks with customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Innovate solutions to address unique layer 1 challenges in extreme launch environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other STEM discipline
• Experience designing and implementing system-level communication architectures for large campuses or industrial facilities
• Proficiency with CAD and/or electrical schematics software
• Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA) and fiber/copper cabling types
• Project management skills including schedule development and creating specification documents
• Ability to supervise technicians/contractors and execute complex network designs
• Experience configuring TCP/IP based communication equipment
