The IT Manager of Data Science & AI is a senior leadership role within our expanding data science team, responsible for driving advanced machine learning and deep learning initiatives that deliver significant business impact. This leader will manage daily operations, foster innovation, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards for security, governance, ethics, and responsible AI. Key responsibilities include overseeing the full lifecycle of AI/ML projects from strategy to deployment, collaborating with various teams to identify opportunities and deliver scalable solutions, and monitoring emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. The ideal candidate has a Master’s Degree or Ph.D., 10+ years of IT experience, and 3+ years of leadership experience, along with expertise in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. This role requires strong technical skills, strategic vision, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the enterprise.
Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI and data science initiatives aligned to enterprise priorities.
Oversee the design, training, validation, and operationalization of advanced machine learning, deep learning, and generative agentic AI models.
Ensure AI solutions adhere to enterprise standards for security, governance, ethics, and responsible AI practices.
Collaborate with business units, IT, and analytics teams to identify AI use cases and deliver scalable, impactful solutions.
Monitor emerging AI/ML technologies to maintain a competitive advantage and guide strategic investments.
Establish processes for ongoing monitoring, retraining, and optimization of deployed models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
What we're looking for
10+ years of diversified IT experience required
3+ years of experience leading professional staff
Master’s Degree in Data Science or Ph.D. in a relevant field preferred
