What you'll do

  • Perform and review technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Validate and verify system security requirements and designs for various environments.
  • Build cybersecurity into systems deployed in operational environments.
  • Assess and mitigate system security threats throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Support security authorization activities according to RMF standards and policies.
  • Create and manage documentation required to obtain and maintain ATO.
  • Implement and validate system security controls using STIGs and SCAP tools.

What we're looking for

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • BS degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience in information assurance and system administration.
  • Proven experience as an ISSE/ISSM/ISSO/SCA with deep understanding of RMF processes.
  • Proficiency with STIGs, SCAP tools, and creating documentation for ATO requests.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex IA concepts for various audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work in physically demanding environments.
