What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end SOX/FDICIA Program activities including risk assessment and control identification.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Financial Statement Reporting Risk for firmwide stakeholders.
- Prescribe and enforce SOX/FDICIA program requirements for Global Assessment Units.
- Provide quality control oversight of management’s risk and control documentation.
- Oversee global network of SOX Coordinators and track delivery of compliance activities.
What we're looking for
- 15+ years of experience in Big Four Audit/Accounting Firms or large banks with SOX, audit, risk and control expertise
- BA/BS in Accounting/Finance/Risk and CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification preferred
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and application to business/products
- Expertise in COSO framework and regulatory guidance from SEC, OCC, PCAOB, AICPA
- Proven ability to manage large-scale complex programs/projects with risk mitigation strategies
- Strong influencing skills, collaboration abilities, and communication for senior management presentations
- Outstanding people leadership skills, adaptable and resilient professional capable of independent operation
