Role Details

As a Full Stack Software Developer reporting to the VP of Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing solutions for Nasdaq's Reference Data Management (RDM) platform. You'll contribute to building scalable, cloud-based applications that power critical market infrastructure as part of our AWS modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern technologies to support reference data management solutions.
  • Build data normalization and ingestion solutions using React, Java, SpringBoot, and AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data flow strategies that meet business requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and performance.
  • Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments, ensuring compatibility across platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience with full stack technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in React and UI development (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience with Java, SpringBoot, SQL databases (Postgres, SQL Server), and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Unix/Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS development experience and relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Background in financial services or capital markets technology.

This position can be located in Philadelphia, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
