What you'll do

  • Plan, prepare, and execute UAS missions in VLOS and BVLOS scenarios.
  • Conduct manual flight operations as Safety Pilot for fixed wing and VTOL UAS.
  • Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks on UAS platforms and systems.
  • Develop mission-specific risk assessments using MIL-STD-882E principles.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, technical records, and incident reports per regulations.
  • Troubleshoot various UAS systems, including Pixhawk and Cube Orange controllers.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a valid Part 61 and Part 107 pilot license.
  • Significant experience in manual UAS or RC aircraft operations on fixed-wing and VTOL airframes.
  • Expert-level technical proficiency with Pixhawk and Cube Orange Flight Controllers.
  • Thorough understanding of FAA Part 107 regulations and operational safety cases.
