Role Details
We're seeking a passionate engineering project management expert to own the entire lifecycle of highly complex, large- scale projects and feature areas. You'll be in the driver's seat, from business requirements analysis and technical design discussions to testing and partner collaboration. This isn't about checking tasks off a list – it's about your ability to lead, drive and deliver on every aspect of the project. Drive projects from inception to launch, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery within budget and scope. Collaborate effectively with engineers, product owners, and strategic partners, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment on project goals.. Manage project resources, track timelines, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery. Deeply understand software engineering workflows and systems architecture. You will navigate complex technical trade-offs, challenge architectural assumptions, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and impactful. This includes participating in technical design reviews and providing constructive feedback. 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Engineering Project/Program Manager (EPM), Technical Project Manager (TPM), or similar role, managing complex software development projects Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Engineering Project/Program Manager (EPM), Technical Project Manager (TPM), or similar role, managing complex software development projects Experience driving highly complex projects using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies, with a strong understanding of eCommerce, distributed systems, microservices, and/or cloud technologies. Proven ability to work with diverse audiences through clear, compelling written and verbal communication. Demonstrated history of thriving in fast paced dev environments with constant change. Successful track record of managing budgets and forecasting resource needs. Highly effective team player who can bring engineers, product managers, and designers together to deliver results. Industry recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification. Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate the business and technical implications of architectural decisions, technology choices, and trade-offs made by the project team. Able to contribute to technical discussions and provide informed perspectives. Strong facilitation and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead project teams to meet all project deadlines with minimal supervision.
