What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and debug device drivers for safety-critical avionics systems.
Develop special Test Equipment software to control hardware instrumentation in lab environments.
Integrate custom-designed hardware with software using FPGA technology.
Participate in certification activities including requirements and code reviews.
Support documentation and performance validation of embedded software solutions.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience developing C code for embedded environments.
Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) like WindRiver VxWorks, GreenHills Integrity, and LynxOS.
Experience in developing device drivers and boot loaders targeting Intel and PowerPC processors.
Knowledge of hardware communication protocols including PCIe, SPI, UART, and I2C.
Proficiency in using instrumentation tools for system analysis and debugging.
US citizenship required with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Understanding of full software lifecycle development processes aligned with DO-178C guidelines.
