What you'll do

  • Own mechanical and thermal aspects of hardware design from initial requirements through production.
  • Design complex mechanical systems integrating RF hardware, PCBAs, and cabling.
  • Rapidly prototype to identify issues early in the development cycle.
  • Support customer-facing hardware demonstrations to understand user needs.
  • Work closely with electrical engineers on the integration of electronics into mechanical designs.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of mechanical design experience in a professional setting.
  • BSME, MS, or PhD in a related engineering field and eligible for Secret clearance.
  • Hands-on fabrication skills with ability to quickly address manufacturing issues.
  • Experience integrating PCBAs and electronics into mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in NX/Teamcenter and designing thermal management solutions.
