What you'll do

  • Generate and maintain Combat System Cable Block Diagrams (CBD) and Cable Installation / Interconnection Drawings (CIID).
  • Review PARM, OEM, and vendor Installation Control Drawings for accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
  • Conduct ship checks to assess existing conditions during installation and testing of new equipment.
  • Lead peer engineers and provide on-site engineering support at shipyards or test sites.
  • Develop cable products and associated deliverables within the SEMS Ship Integration Engineering team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Familiarity with various network types and cable interface design.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience in generating and maintaining Combat System Cable Block Diagrams (CBD) and Cable Installation / Interconnection Drawings (CIID).
  • Knowledge of military and commercial electrical interface protocols, USN Shipbuilding Specifications, and AEGIS Combat System program philosophies.
  • Capable of leading peer engineers and providing on-site engineering support during installation and testing.
