This Director-level role leads the Enginuity-X team within the S&P Global Ratings Engineering organization, focusing on advancing automation, performance, security, AI, usability, and accessibility to accelerate innovation and strengthen resilience. The position requires setting a forward-looking strategy for Quality Engineering, leading transformation at scale, and operating with executive presence to influence senior leaders across Product, Architecture, Delivery, and Engineering. Key responsibilities include translating strategic vision into measurable impact through roadmaps and outcomes that improve efficiency and quality, providing thought leadership in modern quality engineering, and building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience in SDET with a strong track record in leading Quality Engineering organizations, hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, cloud platforms, and secure engineering practices, and expertise in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.

What we're looking for
15+ years experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), including senior leadership roles.
Proven track record of building and leading modern Quality Engineering organizations enhancing delivery speed, quality, resilience, and business performance.
Strong executive presence with credibility to engage senior leaders and align diverse stakeholders for enterprise transformation.
Demonstrated strategic and thought leadership across automation, performance, security, AI/ML, usability, and accessibility.
Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, cloud platforms, observability tools, and secure engineering practices.
Exceptional communication skills to shape narratives and influence executive, business, and technical audiences.
