The DevOps Engineer will join a dynamic team to automate software development and delivery processes for agile teams. This role involves establishing CI/CD pipelines that meet enterprise standards, provisioning environments, debugging complex technical issues, and ensuring automated builds and deployments function successfully. Key responsibilities include scripting, testing, documenting, and resolving escalated technical matters while adhering to SDLC standards. The ideal candidate has 6 years of experience in DevOps engineering with proficiency in Java, UNIX Shell scripting, Groovy, Python, YAML, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud. A strong understanding of Linux OS configuration, networking, and security is essential, along with experience in Agile environments and containerization technologies.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to automate software delivery.
Configure and manage testing environments for agile development teams.
Debug complex technical issues in virtualized, containerized systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement cloud-based solutions with Terraform, Ansible, and Chef for infrastructure as code.
Monitor and optimize performance through logging, monitoring, alerts, and capacity planning.
What we're looking for
At least four years of experience in programming languages such as Java and UNIX Shell scripting.
Three years of experience using DevOps tools like Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Python, YAML, and shell scripting.
Experience configuring and maintaining testing environments, software release management, and support activities.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, HELM Charts, security contexts, and autoscaling.
Good understanding of cloud networking architecture, operations, security, automation, and orchestration using Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
Experience creating CI/CD pipelines, workflow automation, and implementing observability and reliability practices.
