Join Adyen as a Data Center Engineer II in San Francisco, supporting the company’s expanding global data center footprint. In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of data center assets and maintain precise DCIM documentation to ensure accuracy for all teams. You’ll lead end-to-end rollouts of new data centers and large-scale expansion projects, including HPC cluster deployments, while collaborating with partners on critical infrastructure design and installation. Responsibilities include supply chain coordination, vendor management, and hands-on field operations, requiring strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. You must have experience in data center engineering and operations, DCIM and asset management, and be comfortable traveling internationally for several weeks per year.
Lead end-to-end rollout of new data centers and large-scale expansion projects globally.
Manage full hardware lifecycle from purchase order to decommissioning.
Ensure precise DCIM documentation for a single source of truth across global teams.
Coordinate supply chain logistics, tracking orders and managing inventory.
Serve as primary point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders.
Plan and oversee engineering work-streams including maintenance and repairs.
