Data Analytics Engineer, Senior Associate

What you'll do

• Lead development of analytics data models optimized for reporting, BI, and self-service consumption.
• Design and maintain a semantic layer to ensure consistent metrics and business definitions across dashboards.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear modeling deliverables using SQL and Python as needed.
• Implement data quality controls tied to business-critical metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize model performance in Snowflake/Databricks for efficient joins, partitioning, and clustering strategies.
• Establish and enforce data modeling standards including naming conventions, documentation, and lineage management.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or related role.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex joins, performance tuning, and incremental logic.
• Strong data modeling expertise including facts/dimensions, grains, conformed dimensions.
• Experience building and operating a semantic layer/metrics framework.
• Comfortable working with semi-structured data (JSON) and NoSQL sources.
• Practical Python skills for data workflows and automation.
• Working experience with Snowflake and Databricks in an analytics context.
