As an experienced data analyst on Stripe’s Go-to-Market Analytics team, you will collaborate with Communications teams to uncover and communicate novel economic insights derived from Stripe's extensive dataset. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing robust data pipelines and dashboards, generating hypotheses based on Stripe data, and publishing findings both internally and externally. You will work closely with the Communications teams to create compelling social posts, blogs, reports, and campaign content that highlight Stripe’s economic impact. This role requires proficiency in SQL and Python, experience with distributed data frameworks for building scalable analytical tools, and a strong background in statistics or economics. Ideal candidates have a master's degree and prior experience working on data analytics in the tech industry, as well as familiarity with survey design and analysis.

What you'll do

Partner with Communications teams to lead research projects on Stripe’s economic impact.
Publish internal and external findings from economic data analysis.
Generate and test hypotheses using Stripe’s data pipelines and architecture.
Design and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for generating insights.
Define and monitor key metrics to measure Stripe’s economic influence globally.
Analyze business drivers, user segments, cohorts, and macroeconomic trends.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in analytical roles with large datasets.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Statistics or Economics.
Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience building data pipelines.
Experience creating self-serve dashboards and scalable analytical tools.
Ability to develop data-informed narratives and visualizations for publication.
Preferred: Master’s degree in a quantitative field or tech industry experience.
Familiarity with survey design and analysis beneficial.
