As a Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst at HP’s Enterprise Security Operations organization, you will join the Engineering, Innovation and Threat Intelligence team to advance our understanding of adversary tactics. Your daily responsibilities include driving the threat intelligence pipeline by collecting and operationalizing data from internal and external sources, making this intelligence actionable through integration with security tools, and supporting incident response teams during investigations. You will also brief leadership on technical findings translated into business risk terms and continuously improve processes and technology to enhance our threat intelligence capabilities. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence or related fields, hands-on experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms like CrowdStrike, and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python is highly valued.

What you'll do

  • Drive the collection and operationalization of threat intelligence from internal and external sources.
  • Push curated intelligence into detection and response tools to enhance protection mechanisms.
  • Provide contextual intelligence and malware analysis during active incident investigations.
  • Deliver intelligence reports and presentations that translate technical findings into business risk.
  • Identify gaps in processes, tooling, and technology to improve the threat intelligence function.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, or Incident Response
  • Hands-on experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms and EDR platforms like CrowdStrike
  • Proven ability to research, track, and report on threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in authoring technical reports and intelligence assessments for leadership
  • Tool development and scripting experience in Python, Go, PowerShell, or similar languages
  • Continuous growth mindset with a passion for asking why and exploring new technologies
