As a Senior Cybersecurity and Cryptography Architect at Booz Allen, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior DoD clients, leading cryptographic modernization efforts across the department. Your daily responsibilities include reviewing architecture and technical protocols, analyzing cryptographic solutions, and coordinating cryptography policies and guidance at the DoD level while collaborating with Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies. You will leverage your expertise in cryptographic protocols and computational analysis to develop secure practices such as cryptographic modernization and key management, helping clients overcome their most challenging security issues. The role requires experience with USG clients, presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, evaluating cryptographic products, and analyzing cryptography policy. Ideal candidates possess a Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and extensive experience in cryptography, along with knowledge of DoD policies like NSM 8 and CNSSP-15.
Design secure systems for senior DoD clients to withstand advanced cyber threats.
Review and collaborate on cryptographic architecture and technical protocols with DoD entities.
Analyze and evaluate cryptographic solutions and products for effectiveness and compliance.
Develop and coordinate cryptography policies and guidance at high levels of the DoD.
Lead a team in integrating secure practices like cryptographic modernization and key management.
Present complex technical information to senior leadership, both verbally and in writing.

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with over 14 years or Master's degree with over 12 years of experience in cryptography.
