What you'll do

  • Manage system requirements to ensure compatibility with DoDAF and SOA frameworks.
  • Develop sections of systems engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans and Requirements Specifications.
  • Provide risk assessment and escalate issues in regular meetings with customer stakeholders.
  • Contribute to solution development under the guidance of the program's Chief Engineer.
  • Participate in establishing and gaining approval for system or component definitions during development phases.
  • Offer technical direction for the integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems.

What we're looking for

  • 14+ years of experience in systems engineering (SE)
  • Bachelor’s degree in SE, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Active US Security clearance with a polygraph
  • Experience managing system requirements and developing documentation like System Engineering Plans
  • Technical expertise in establishing and approving system definitions under development
  • Collaborative skills to work with PMO members and program's Chief Engineer
  • Capabilities in conducting risk assessments and participating in regular reporting activities
