As a Compliance Testing Manager at Capital One, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance across the enterprise by leading and mentoring teams of compliance testers or managing complex testing initiatives. Your daily responsibilities include designing and validating test plans, evaluating test accuracy, and maintaining operational rigor to ensure timely and accurate results. You will also collaborate with subject matter experts and business partners to innovate testing processes using advanced technologies like AI and ML, while supporting independent compliance audits and exams. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ideal candidates have over 6 years of experience in compliance testing, legal, audit, risk management, or fraud investigation, along with at least 2 years of people management or program leadership experience.
Lead and mentor a team of compliance testers or manage complex testing initiatives.
Design and validate test plans to identify high-risk areas and improve test design.
Ensure timely execution and technical accuracy of testing results within set schedules.
Innovate by identifying opportunities to enhance testing with AI and ML technologies.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure adherence to test procedures.
What we're looking for
At least 6 years of experience in compliance testing, legal, audit, risk management, or fraud investigation.
Minimum 2 years of people management or leading complex testing programs.
Strong working knowledge of consumer privacy laws and relevant certifications (ACAMS, CFE, CFCS, CRCM, CIPP, AIGP).
Ability to prioritize conflicting needs and advocate a course of action flexibly.
Experience analyzing data from various sources and making actionable recommendations.
Proven skills in test design validation, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to processes.
