As a Cloud Solutions Architect on our Naval infrastructure team, you will leverage your extensive experience to design and integrate cloud-agnostic system architectures that meet the operational objectives of the U.S. Navy. Your responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance, conducting assessments, troubleshooting issues, and recommending enhancements for optimal performance. You will also develop detailed migration plans and provide guidance during implementation phases while scaling delivery of modern systems engineering best practices including digital engineering, automation, and orchestration across both systems and network solutions. This role requires 12+ years of experience with enterprise systems engineering in a DoD environment, expertise in Red Hat and Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, hybrid cloud services, and infrastructure as code principles, along with Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days.
Lead the design and integration of cloud-agnostic system architectures for Naval infrastructure.
Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines and risk assessments for workload migrations.
Conduct system assessments and recommend enhancements to ensure optimal performance.
Scale delivery of modern systems engineering best practices across both systems and network solutions.
Provide guidance during implementation phases to ensure architectural compliance.
What we're looking for
12+ years of enterprise systems engineering experience in DoD environments.
Expertise in Red Hat, Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, and hybrid cloud services.
Experience with SAN, HCI, backup architectures, and DoD cybersecurity compliance.
Knowledge of Voice, Video, IP-based communications systems, and secure AWS/Azure cloud environments.
Proficient in developing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Hold a Secret clearance and able to obtain DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering required.
