As a Cloud Engineer at Webex, you will join a dynamic team within Cisco’s $1B collaboration business unit to design and build a next-generation provider-agnostic platform that scales automatically and hosts hundreds of microservices. You will develop and lead tools, frameworks, and infrastructure for automated configuration, building, and deployment of cloud applications. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools like Git and Jenkins, as well as a strong understanding of networking and incident response in cloud environments. You must be a U.S. person to work in FedRAMP High or IL-5 environments.

What you'll do

Design and build a next-gen provider-agnostic, auto-scaled platform for multiple microservices.
Create solutions using open-source and commercial technologies to ensure service availability and quality.
Develop automated tools and frameworks for configuring, building, and deploying cloud applications.
Lead the configuration and deployment of platform and cloud applications in an automated manner.
Work on monitoring, observability, and incident response in cloud or hybrid environments.

What we're looking for

U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, etc.)
5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or related role
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and infrastructure-as-code tools
Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible
Expertise in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response in cloud environments
Understanding of IPv4/IPv6 networking and cloud network architecture automation
