What you'll do

  • Architect AI-powered data engineering solutions using LLM agents and multi-agent workflows integrated with WM Lakehouse platform.
  • Define and maintain standards for evaluating AI systems, including offline benchmarks and regression testing.
  • Own the CI/CD lifecycle for AI models and prompt configurations to ensure reliable production releases.
  • Enforce responsible AI practices to protect sensitive financial data from PII exposure and other risks.
  • Partner with data architects to ensure AI systems comply with regulatory standards like GDPR and CCPA.
  • Establish patterns for integrating AI tools into Lakehouse infrastructure, enabling seamless data platform integration.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on AI system development.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML systems
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and hands-on experience with LLM APIs
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing agentic architectures including tool use and multi-agent orchestration
  • Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms like S3, Glue, Snowflake, Athena, MWAA/Airflow
  • Experience building AI evaluation pipelines and ensuring responsible AI practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives
