- Architect AI-powered data engineering solutions using LLM agents and multi-agent workflows integrated with WM Lakehouse platform.
- Define and maintain standards for evaluating AI systems, including offline benchmarks and regression testing.
- Own the CI/CD lifecycle for AI models and prompt configurations to ensure reliable production releases.
- Enforce responsible AI practices to protect sensitive financial data from PII exposure and other risks.
- Partner with data architects to ensure AI systems comply with regulatory standards like GDPR and CCPA.
- Establish patterns for integrating AI tools into Lakehouse infrastructure, enabling seamless data platform integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on AI system development.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML systems
- Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and hands-on experience with LLM APIs
- Demonstrated expertise in designing agentic architectures including tool use and multi-agent orchestration
- Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms like S3, Glue, Snowflake, Athena, MWAA/Airflow
- Experience building AI evaluation pipelines and ensuring responsible AI practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives
