AI/ML Engineer, Mid-Career, Level 3

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end AI pipelines incorporating agents, LLMs, and domain-specific models.
• Develop high-accuracy OCR pipelines for text extraction from various document types.
• Implement LLM-based parsers to extract intent and actionable items from unstructured text.
• Combine AI components into reusable autonomous agents for process automation.
• Write Python scripts and SQL queries for data ingestion, cleansing, and storage in compliance with security policies.
• Evaluate emerging AI research and prototype proof-of-concepts based on stakeholder feedback.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience developing AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Python and relevant libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV).
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries and performance optimization.
• Experience with large-scale cloud AI services vetted for Lockheed Martin use.
• Computer vision expertise including OCR, object detection, and image classification.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration tools.
