Join our Fleet Ballistic Missile Systems Engineering team as a career-level Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence (A/AI) Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, where you will collaborate with Systems Engineers to identify AI/ML use cases and develop innovative solutions for complex analysis requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating machine learning models from flight test data, conducting statistical analyses, setting up experiments, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will work with time-series and text datasets, maintain awareness of emerging analytics technologies, and craft whitepapers on industry trends. Proficiency in Python or other numerical scripting languages is essential, along with experience in Agile development and JIRA. This role requires a strong background in AI disciplines such as machine learning and statistical analysis, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of AI disciplines including machine learning, statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing
Ability to implement algorithms into software for system training and pattern recognition
Capability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
Experience developing lightweight AI/ML applications and conducting statistical analyses
Proficiency in Python for designing efficient algorithms and data analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to leadership
