AI Security Controls Engineer

What you'll do

• Partner with teams to build and scale security controls for AI/ML systems.
• Establish and operationalize an enterprise AI governance framework, including policies and technical requirements.
• Define guardrails for AI system inputs, outputs, and inter-agent communication to prevent misuse.
• Craft robust access controls for AI tools and data sources, ensuring least privilege and auditability.
• Identify critical control points requiring Human-in-the-Loop review in autonomous workflows.
• Develop continuous surveillance methods to ensure alignment with AI governance standards.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI governance and Responsible AI.
• 6+ years of risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, or consulting experience.
• Experience translating AI governance requirements into technical security controls.
• Familiarity with agentic AI technologies, protocols, and threat modeling.
• Knowledge of AI governance standards like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act.
• Experience working with GRC platforms and collaborating across privacy, legal, and security teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
