Design and implement adaptive experimental systems for nonstationary environments.

Translate principles from experimental design and sequential decision-making into system behavior.
Implement research code supporting hierarchical experimentation and statistically valid online inference.
Create diagnostics and monitoring tools to ensure learning systems remain calibrated over time.
What we're looking for
Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or closely related field.
Deep expertise in experimental design and causal inference, including randomized experiments and adaptive experimentation.
Experience implementing research-grade statistical methods in a programming language like Python.
Familiarity with hierarchical experimental designs and multi-level inference techniques.
Strong understanding of identifiability, bias–variance tradeoffs, and statistical validity in complex settings.
Comfort designing and conducting experiments on learning systems under nonstationary conditions.
