What you'll do

Identify high-value automation targets in collaboration with physical design teams.
Evaluate and benchmark LLM-generated outputs against ground truth for accuracy.
Own the full developer loop from prototype to production focusing on cycle reduction.
Build agentic PnR workflows enabling autonomous iterations based on tool feedback.
Develop RAG pipelines indexing internal documents for AI tool reference.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with extensive Physical Design experience.
Experience using Python and AI tools to enhance productivity in EDA workflows.
Expertise in developing MCP-based wrapper layers for real-time EDA tool interactions.
Background in creating EDA copilots, Docker environments, and ML-driven PnR systems.
Knowledge of RTL2GDSII flow and design tapeouts in advanced process technologies (7nm/5nm/3nm).
Proficiency with EDA tools like Innovus, Tempus/Primetime, Redhawk/Voltus, and Calibre/Pegasus.
