What you'll do

  • Ensure AI and GenAI models meet internal standards and regulatory expectations through independent validation.
  • Design challenger solutions for various AI tasks like summarization and question answering to test model accuracy.
  • Review data inputs, assumptions, and prompt engineering for AI models to ensure appropriateness and accuracy.
  • Deliver effective challenges to key modeling elements including calculations, outputs, and documentation.
  • Identify findings and compile clear reports on model validation results with recommendations for improvement.
  • Enhance the GenAI model validation framework by standardizing evaluation metrics and deploying tools for efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced degree in AI, ML, Computational Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or Quantitative Economics.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in machine learning or data science with 1+ year focused on GenAI.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SAS/SQL and understanding of GenAI concepts like prompt engineering, RAG, LLM evaluation.
  • Experience with GenAI tools such as Vertex AI, LangChain/LangGraph, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs.
  • Proven ability to act independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a proactive manner.
  • Strong analytical skills, commitment to continuous learning, and innovative thinking.
