As a Systems Engineer for ACS Desktop Workstations at HP, you will be responsible for defining and integrating the end-to-end Windows software solution across new workstation platforms. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or software program leadership, a strong understanding of Windows OS integration, and familiarity with image build processes and driver qualification. Experience with ODMs and factory partners is essential, as well as the ability to manage complex programs and communicate effectively across HP and partner teams.

What you'll do

  • Drive system architecture, integration, and interface alignment across platform components for Windows workstations.
  • Lead system-level validation, debug, and root cause analysis to ensure quality and performance of Windows OS and applications.
  • Define and validate release readiness criteria from a full system perspective for new workstation platforms.
  • Own Windows-related issue resolution/triage, prioritization, tracking, and closure for NPI programs.
  • Ensure completion of Windows validation and readiness for image RTM/Release and factory enablement.
  • Coordinate closely with ODM SEPMs to ensure Windows deliverables meet HP quality and schedule targets.
  • Support phase exit readiness reviews and executive updates on Windows program status.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management or systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS integration and BIOS/FW interaction.
  • Experience working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) in NPI environments.
  • Proven ability to drive complex cross-functional programs to on-time delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lead system-level validation and debug for quality assurance.
