Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager interested in building the system that’s focusing on catching product regressions during development as part of engineering system. You will be working closely with global product, engineering, and feature teams to improve overall Teams quality and stability

Engineering Systems TPMs operate at the intersection of software engineering, platform infrastructure, and live‑site operations—ensuring that engineering teams can build, validate, release, and operate services at scale with speed, safety, and quality.

You will partner closely with Software Engineering, Data Science, Reliability teams, and Live Site teams to design and operationalize systems that enable experimentation, evaluation, release governance, and incident readiness across large‑scale distributed environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define the roadmap for engineering systems that support service onboarding, release safety, experimentation, and reliability.
  • Lead 0→1 platform investments that improve engineering productivity, deployment health, and incident prevention.
  • Influence architectural decisions across engineering infrastructure including evaluation frameworks, release orchestration, and telemetry platforms.
  • This role is responsible for enabling engineering teams to safely build and operate services at scale through AI‑assisted evaluation, deployment governance, and reliability automation platforms.
  • Drive adoption of engineering systems across multiple product orgs and lead execution across geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations to unblock complex platform initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience delivering engineering infrastructure or platform‑level systems at scale.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems reliability and release management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑org initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams.
  • Solid technical judgment and ability to influence platform architecture decisions.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
