Job Description
Technical Product Manager, Lead
The Opportunity:
The Chief Technology Office (CTO) at Booz Allen is building the Software-Defined Everything (SDx) platform, which enables infrastructure, environments, and mission systems to be discovered, provisioned, simulated, and deployed through software, across cloud, edge, and physical domains.
We are seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to define and own the product vision for the SDx platform. In this role, you will set the strategic direction, define roadmaps, and drive adoption across business units, mission teams, engineering, and customers. This role combines product leadership, strategic vision, and stakeholder engagement to ensure SDx delivers measurable outcomes, efficiency, and impact across programs and offerings.
You will experience the autonomy of shaping a new platform capability while leveraging the depth, scale, and mission impact of Booz Allen. This is ideal for a product leader who can translate complex technical capabilities into clear business and mission outcomes, align various stakeholders, and drive platform adoption. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Do:
- Establish the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SDx platform, ensuring alignment with CTO priorities, business goals, and mission objectives.
- Comprehend user and customer needs, including mission operators, internal engineers, program leaders, and business stakeholders, to identify the most valuable platform capabilities.
- Research market trends, emerging technologies, and competitors, including AI/ML, edge computing, autonomy, and digital twins, to keep the platform innovative and relevant.
- Prioritize building reusable, scalable, and resilient platform capabilities such as environment provisioning, orchestration APIs, simulation frameworks, and infrastructure abstractions, over one-off features.
- Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, translating strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and requirements for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations partners to ensure platform capabilities are robust, secure, and aligned to the product vision.
- Drive adoption and utilization of the SDx platform across internal teams and mission stakeholders by providing onboarding frameworks, guidance, and support.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on adoption, speed of environment delivery, mission readiness, cost efficiency, and platform impact.
- Partner with business, finance, and program teams to align platform capabilities with offerings, cost structures, ROI, and mission impact.
- Advocate for the SDx platform internally and externally, preparing executive updates, mission briefs, and customer presentations.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:

- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, start-up-like environments, while aligning various stakeholders across a large organization
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, CS, or Business field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working across software and hardware technologies, or with infrastructure or platform products
- Experience leading product teams toward a shared vision, inspiring confidence, and driving organizational consensus

- Experience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, and Jira, that enhance product conceptualization and communication
- Experience in federal, defense, or mission-driven environments
- Ability to pivot, embrace change, and learn quickly in dynamic environments
