The role as QuickBooks Capital credit strategy lead will play vital roles in the following areas to help the business grow:

·Drive new lending business initiatives from credit risk strategy perspective, have innovative ideas to optimize, and provide the most value to customers and drive business growth, at the same time meeting Capital business P&L goal.

·Craft complex credit strategy proposals in underwriting credit policies and account management credit policies for lending products. Manage policy performance, reporting and communicating to stakeholders and leadership

·Proactively identify opportunity areas for future enhancements, opportunities are not limited in credit risk area, but includes opportunities in every touch points in customer cycle. Drive end to end from ideas to actual business results.

·Work with our data scientist team to develop innovative risk solution by leveraging the latest technology to help QuickBooks customers financing needs

Responsibilities

  • Craft complex Credit segmentation criteria for targeting purpose. Ensure proposal will meet credit risk standards and will also driver higher response from customers with more certainty.Use Quickbook data to tell good story and convince audiences.

  • Have strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, expert at using data to build assumptions, prove hypothesis and build structured framework of proposal.

  • Manage policy performance, portfolio performance, extract meaningful insights and reporting,communicate to stakeholders and leadership to drive actions and alignments.

  • Have innovative mindset, constantly identify opportunities in credit, product experience, targeting stage and more to drive business growth or reduce complexity

  • Build great ownership and leadership by working collaboratively with business partners (product development, product management, marketing, data engineering, compliance, underwriting team etc.) to design new products to increase our market shares.

  • Influence and able to reach agreement with cross functional teams to realize ideas to actual business results

  • Team up with our data scientist, underwriting, data engineering teams closely to drive customer segmentations, develop innovative credit strategies, and perform portfolio analyses.

  • Use big data technology to mine massive scale transactional data to credit risk analyses and translate into actionable business opportunities.

  • Design, implement, and monitor testing to explore new methodologies and estimate key metrics for our acquisition strategies and credit policy

Qualifications

  • MS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Operational Research, Industry Engineering, Economics etc. Or Bachelor Degree in same fields with 3+ years working experience

  • 3+ years working experience in an analytics related role. Lending or Fintech experience strongly preferred

  • Have a track record of diving into data and drive data insights for business needs both quantitatively and qualitatively

  • Proficient in one of the following analytics tools, such as Python, R, SQL

  • Advanced Excel skills with strong logical and SQL/relational database query skills

  • Familiar with big data technology such as HIVE, Hadoop and other related concepts

  • Having credit risk related domain knowledge, such as credit bureau attributes and scoring, scorecard modeling, pricing, loss forecasting, collections and fraud detections

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to learn fast, and confidence in taking ownership

  • Passion for analyzing data, proactively looking for business opportunities and drive new innovation in lending industry.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced working environment, results driven
