Position Summary...

We are pioneering big data products from Smart TV viewing data. As part of our Data Science team, you will be working on the Inscape line of data products. The Emmy-award winning Inscape data is the market leading ACR data set used for media measurement. This is an excellent opportunity to grow or start a career as a product-driven Data Scientist.

What you'll do...

• Build prototypes and PoCs, partnering with product to define requirements and the path to productization.

• Perform exploratory analysis on large datasets to identify trends, clusters, and anomalies; recommend fixes and improvements.

• Develop and evaluate statistical/ML models; support validation, tuning, and performance assessment.

• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate model outcomes and business insights.

• Write and test maintainable code (Python/SQL and related tools) to deliver analytics solutions.

What you’ll bring

• Fluency in Python and SQL; ability to write high-quality, maintainable, testable code.

• Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature development, and model selection/validation.

• Comfort working with big data ecosystems (e.g., distributed data stores, data quality/governance concepts).

• Ability to clearly explain technical work to partners with varied technical backgrounds; on-site in LA or NYC.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 2: Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Option 3: 4 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
