About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of complex enterprise solutions on the Salesforce sales cloud platform. You will serve as the technical authority for Salesforce application development, driving architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Write production-quality Apex (triggers, batch, queueable, REST/SOAP services, invocable methods).
Build advanced, reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) with optimized performance and state management.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, CDC, MuleSoft, and Named Credentials.
Lead Data Cloud implementation (Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Vector Database).
Create and configure Agentforce agents (Topics, Actions, Prompt Templates).
Drive migration of legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builders into Flows.
Conduct rigorous code reviews and enforce adequate test coverage with meaningful assertions.
Ensure compliance with Salesforce Security Review standards (SOQL Injection, XSS, CRUD/FLS, CSRF).
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using SFDX, GitHub Actions, or Copado.
Define branching strategies and govern metadata deployment processes.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and training sessions.
Create and maintain architecture documents, design records, and runbooks.
Lead end-to-end technical design and architecture across Salesforce clouds (Sales, Data Cloud, Agentforce).
Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
Own architectural decisions on data model design, integration patterns, and org strategy.
Drive Salesforce Health Checks, technical debt remediation, and performance optimization.
Required Experience:
10+ years of software development experience.
7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flows, Integrations).
5+ years of integration experience (REST, SOAP, Middleware).
3+ years of technical leadership and mentoring experience.
Experience working in large enterprise Salesforce orgs (3000+ users).

What Sets You Apart
Deep understanding of governor limits, large data volume (LDV) strategies, and sharing model design.
Experience with Agentforce and Data Cloud implementation.
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, CloudHub).
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Passion for mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
