What you'll do...

We are looking for a seasoned and energetic Staff software engineer who can drive the development of the platform working with a group of high energy engineers, architects, product managers and report to leadership team. This role requires to be technically strong and be able to drive the development in a fast-paced environment. The candidate is expected to work with global teams, provide thought leadership, understand the business context and help provide right solutions, work with product and program managers to plan the releases, participate in sprint planning and handle deployments to production.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design and evolution of large scale machine learning and generative AI systems, setting technical direction across multiple teams and initiatives.
  • Architect and productionize LLM driven platforms and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability in high impact environments.
  • Define and implement advanced NLP and generative AI solutions, including RAG systems, agent based architectures, and multimodal models.
  • Drive the development of multi agent systems capable of orchestrating complex, goal directed workflows from natural language inputs.
  • Establish best practices for model development and deployment, including evaluation frameworks, experimentation standards, and performance optimization techniques (e.g., fine tuning, LoRA, quantization).
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to translate ambiguous, high level problems into scalable AI solutions with measurable impact.
  • Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring systems meet standards for safety, fairness, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Extensive experience building and scaling machine learning systems in production, with a strong focus on NLP and/or Gen AI applications.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross functional initiatives and drive technical strategy in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Deep expertise in modern ML and deep learning approaches, including large language models and their adaptation techniques.
  • Strong engineering background with experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and data/ML pipelines at scale.
  • Hands on experience with LLM ecosystems and tooling (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, or similar), and familiarity with agent based or orchestration frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying AI solutions in high stakes environments requiring careful consideration of risk, compliance, and trust.
  • Track record of mentoring senior talent and influencing engineering practices beyond immediate team boundaries.

Preferred: experience at leading technology companies or AI focused startups, or equivalent impact in building cutting edge ML systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
