Job Description:

Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a J&J Technology Services Director, located in Raritan, New Jersey.

The J&J Technology Services Director position is accountable for end-to-end technology delivery leadership for the MedTech Transcend program including Osprey. The role ensures JJTS delivered technology services enable the program’s business transformation objectives, including modernization of foundational processes, cloud-first adoption, and standardized global platforms.

The individual is responsible for connecting with Business and BT leaders of the program and setting up TS team by collaborating with service and chapter leaders to meet the program needs and incorporate AI enablement of the program. The individual will work with Senior IT and Business Leaders to understand the priorities and timeline. The individual will also lead a team responsible for receiving demand and providing timely estimates, setting up squads and teams, and completing the build and deployment. The individual manages product group engineers, lead engineers , scrum masters, RTEs and solution Architects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure program timeliness and financial health are appropriately managed throughout the program lifecycle for TS results across App Development, App Security, Integration, S/4 and BTP Platforms, and Customer Experience.
  • Planning, execution, and communication of milestones, metrics, progress, and escalating key risks. Identify risks and issues and communicate with the program management team as well as TS management internally.
  • Deliverables for application build, support testing, timely resolution of prioritized defects, deployment and hypercare support.
  • Remove impediments for TS team and hold other TS and non-TS teams accountable as needed.
  • Act as an “Integrator” of various JJTS platforms and chapter services. Manage cross-program interdependencies, conflicts, and challenges.
  • Ability to incorporate AI and Innovative automation practices in areas of engagement.
  • Establish proper common object management, change control, technical release management (RTE) and provide AI Governance.
  • Ensure accurate Knowledge Transfer (KT) and transition the product to support teams.
  • Lead vendor teams and scale up and down as the program demands.
  • Define and develop a service road map and skill development plan for the delivery service, which includes the order-to-cash, surgical kit, Logistics, and Transportation services.
  • TS Estimates, Quotes, Phase 0 pilots, and RFP requests.
  • Work with other SAP business process areas: Plan, Make, Source, Quality, Finance and secondary technical service teams like ABAP, Security, Integration, and BASIS to plan, estimate, and deliver the requirements.
  • Form HPT squads/teams for the successful execution of projects and transition to application maintenance support "RUN" teams.
  • Form and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships with relevant leadership teams and partners across the JJT and Technology Services teams.
  • Track goals, achievements, and service metrics for the delivery service and product group and provide leadership updates on progress and opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Computer Science.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 10 Years in ERP Program Management.
  • 15+ Years in overall Project Delivery is required.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of Information Technology (ERP)application management experience (related) and leading teams in large enterprises is required.
  • More than 10 years of people management experience is required.
  • Technology leader with a demonstrable record of leading large enterprises successfully, focusing on Business agility, defining, shaping, and driving projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others with little supervision required.
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain processes and experience in leading and managing the delivery of ERP capabilities (SD, MM, QM, PP, FI, BW) across multiple business units and within differing ERP technologies.
  • Must have experience in JDE, SAP ECC6, SAP S4 technologies.
  • Must have experience in AI and/or automation ERP solutions.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Good planning, organizational, and decision-making skills required.
  • Must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Experience of working with cross-regional, Global teams; Comfortable in interacting with people across hierarchical levels in the organization and at client locations for smooth project execution within the schedule.
  • End-to-end project implementation experience covering activities across multiple phases.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and project management skills coupled with the ability to understand the process and quality related to a system.
  • Understanding and managing financial processes and results related to projects, departmental budgets, and enterprise is required.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proven ability in managing internal and external technical personnel in a fast-paced, complex, global project environment is required.

Preferred:

  • Experience with product Management with SOX, GxP compliance processes is helpful.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, HPT, and solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Supply Chain Professional or Project Management (PMP certification) or demonstrable experience will be highly regarded.
  • Solid experience with MS office tools, Scrum, and JIRA preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP integrations and APIs and knowledge/ experience in S/4 HANA are desirable.

Other:

  • Up to 10% Travel maybe required, both domestic and international.
